Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Having been first drawn by the shadows of trees she spotted in the grass, she set about studying a method that didn't present the chosen object in a two-dimensional form on canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a re-creation of itself in which the painting becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subject is alive or perishable for example, like humans or fruit. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting and the image remains. Both photographic and painting techniques are so tightly coordinated and result in a flat, two dimensional space, which achieves trompe l'oeil. The third dimension is only visible in certain areas like near the eyes or hair. Meade is also able to integrate her model paintings into the space of 3D that surrounds the models. Their interaction and the created environment is possible. The line that separates photography and painting is dissolved.
